Violent Crimes is what a great new Kanye song sounds like. The melody is fantastic, and yes duh the lyrics are exploring something uncomfortable - the idea that kids are going to grow up in a sexual world and you can't always protect them from it. Kanye is 'singing his growth'. Would you rather a song about how Kanye didn't learn anything from fatherhood?
