Are we allowed to say that Coloring Book was a pretty forgettable followup to Acid Rap already, or is it still too early?
Remember When Every Album Was Similar in Some Way to Yeezus?
So good to see this is an LP and not an EP! Self-titled was one of last year's best albums, and this song is really good, while being fairly different from the sounds of the last album (somewhere between it and Bitte Orca maybe?). Fairly hyped for this, especially with that guest list!
The more I think about this comment the better it gets
I just really wish he had released Lift Yourself as a single or on some streaming service. It would be amazing to see it chart
FYI it seems like this was recorded only two days ago when T.I. was hanging out with Kanye (at least that's how it was implied on TI's instagram). Also it was officially released as a single on iTunes earlier today, which means Kanye finally has a single worse then FACTS
Remember when Post Malone was good? no? neither do I, buddy.
It Beats 4 U is one of the most important songs in my life. It also happens to be the most beautiful of all. I fucking love MMJ.
He is definitely a lot of things. But boring? Never.
Hmm. I did not realize this was a comment to one of the hidden comments (which, yes, is bullshit), and I didn't read the rest of the comment section. My bad. But this type of argument is extremely prevalent in Israel (which is just as fucked as the US if not more!) right now and they really piss me off so I felt I had to comment. This wasn't supposed to be a personal attack or anything. With that being said, it's 4AM and I think I'm done here, good night. See y'all tomorrow on the 5 articles about the newest dumb Kanye tweets
Well yeah I'm just as disgusted by this Twitter spree we can agree on that
That is not what I've asked. Your comment said, and I quote, "Ok fine he can like Trump, but does he have to keep talking about it?". Which to me means your issue is that you have to know about those opinions, not that they exist. This is similar to how the right (who are unfortunately the majority of my country right now) here repeatedly get pissed at media figures who voice their opinions via the old and tired "separate art from politics and keep your opinions to yourself" line of reason. I want you to not think this way in the first place, not be a fascist-legitimizer/racist/idiot in secret. that does not help in any way
oh come on. I'm not saying supporting either side is even remotely similar. But by saying "ok fine but don't talk about it" you're not going to make those opinions disappear, you're just digging deeper into your own space. telling the side you disagree with to shut up about whatever it is they're supporting is counter productive. It's not going to change anyone's mind, not going to create discussion and not going to do anything but make everyone antagonize one another a bit more. It's the shit you believe in that is bad, not the fact that you speak it out loud.
You really don't have to explain to me how endorsing Trump is bad but cheers for the upvotes I guess I never said opinions are a black box and I definitely don't respect those opinions. Of course Kanye's going to catch heat for this, as he should, and fuck him for supporting the guy in the first place. I just don't agree with the "can he stop talking about it" argument. The way I see it, this is not the same argument as saying that the fact he keeps endorsing Trump on social media is dangerous as it legitimizes him. You are basically saying "ok fine you support him that's alright but I don't want to read about it". If that's the case, just don't read it then. I'm sure if you saw someone commenting at, I dunno, Ezra Koenig that "it's fine that you supported Bernie but stop talking about it it's total bromance" you would rightfully think that's a dumb ass response
How is it different than literally every indie musician talking about Bernie/Hillary before the elections (Or Obama for that matter)? I'm sorry for playing devil's advocate, I really hate Trump and I hate whatever Kanye's saying/going thru right now and in no way do I feel like it needs defending (it is very wack indeed) but this is some flawed logic

didn't mean this image to be so huge, shit, my bad. (also, by Murakami I meant Takashi Murakami, not Haruki ofc)
https://www.instagram.com/p/BhxFl7-gRLi/ I think this confirms that at the very least the Pusha album is coming out. Regarding Ye x Cudi, they did hang out with Murakami last year and recently Kanye tweeted some art and logos for this collab that were more than likely made by Murakami. so there is basis to believe that at least some of these albums are coming out at some point this year. Don't know about June but fingers crossed
I was honestly wondering how a story about Jimmy Eat World had made it to the top bar of the mobile site
Oof, a lot of shade being thrown on this write up, so just to make things clear: while the Thievery Corporation diss is unwarranted (The Cosmic Game is a great album), Tricky indeed went to shit fast. Easily the worst show I've been to
Psyence Fiction is an insanely great record which is always somehow forgotten when discussing the trip hop greats. Which is always odd considering it's basically a DJ Shadow album
I was just listening to Too after a long while earlier this week and was happy to find out it still fucking rules, hopefully a new one is out soon!! New song bangs!
I think we all deserve at least one more great Cudi album. MotM 1&2 had some real bangers on them
YZY SZN APPROACHING Y'ALL!! Shit I'm so excited
So Arctic Monkeys could deliver me a nice birthday present, thank you very much
Same, I think. Maybe I'd bother if he had any interesting features, but...........
Holy shit. I feel like someone just punched my face in. I fucking love this band
Yeah, thinking the same. Dave did that after the two previous albums as well. The cover art is awesome tho
It does look as if we're only a few comments away from a random YBB fact party which may or may not be about highways in a certain state

I don't really have a joke to contribute but the two new songs are great
This barely counts as "black metal" and the solo sounded to me almost G'n'R at times. But this is so good. How do they do that?
That's nice but rumor is Macklemore is on the Nobel Peace Prize shortlist
More Life was his last album, don't buy into that "but it's a playlist" bullshit. Hope this one isn't as overstuffed, and generally more in the vein of Nice For What because that song is a thousand times better than God's Plan (which I believe wouldn't have made waves if it was on More Life / Views)
Miami is great and that line about Kanye is just fantastic. My favorite at the moment (and the foreseeable future) is Your Teeth in My Neck, which just, fuck. So good. Just a Stranger / Dead To Me / Tyrant are the other highlights for me. really great album!
I mean he's a trash person and a worse "musician" but I really enjoyed that Diplo song
I think it's mine too, it really slays, I like beast mode Nicki a lot
