I honestly don't understand all the hate here. I mean, you couldn't pay me to attend Coachella, and yes, the headliners are underwhelming, but there are a ton of great bands lurking in the smaller fonts. Here's a list of all the bands I'd personally be interested in seeing. ~30 doesn't seem to bad.

Eucalyptus is one of my favorite albums of the year. Took me a while to really get into it, the first 3 or 4 songs especially are pretty meandering, but once it clicked it really resonated with me. Some of Avey's best and most emotional work. I'm hoping the next AnCo project takes a page from Man of Oil and Eucalyptus. ANYWAYS. this video is a real treat
Totally forgot Mount Eerie, probably because I was only able to listen to it twice. Without a doubt the most powerful album I heard this year.
I'd like to add Alex G and Alisson Crutchfield to my honorable mentions, too.

Sky Blue Sky does have tons of replay value. Either Way, Impossible Germany, and Side with the Seeds are some of my favorite Wilco songs. The last half of the album loses a ton of steam for me though.
To be honest I haven't given either album a ton of time. They dropped Star Wars the day of their Pitchfork Fest set. I spent all day listening to that album and then they played it front to back. I loved it. Schmilco might be better, I just need to spend more time with it.
I have some controversial Wilco opinions, but this is not one of them. Here's my ranking.
1. A Ghost Is Born
2. YHF
3. Being There
4. Summer Teeth
5. The Whole Love
6. Sky Blue Sky
7. AM
8. Star Wars
9. Schmilco
10. Wilco [The Album]
It hasn't really clicked for me. I like a lot of the songs but don't *love* any of them either. Destroyer records usually take a while to settle in with so I'm not giving up yet.
1. Strawberry Jam
2. Feels
3. Sung Tongs
4. Merriweather
5. ODDSAC
6. Fall Be Kind
7. Spirit They've Gone
8. Centipede HZ
9. danse manatee, here comes the indian etc
10. Painting With
Honestly, this was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The top 4 pretty much change on a monthly basis. Prospect Hummer and Water Curses rank somewhere between merriweather and centipede, too.
