Cannot wait to see them with Pile. Just checked them out the other day when I saw the tour announcement and really like everything they've put out.
Pleasantly surprised! Looking forward to this one.
2 for 2 so far. Stoked to hear the rest.
Yeah, Panda sitting this one out doesn't really worry me at all.
The song is up on Spotify. Getting ODDSAC vibes which is v exciting
Really underrating Hot In Herre
Painting With is not great but it's far from "unlistenable"
Eucalyptus was so great. Excited to dive into these. Also, all the new stuff Panda has been playing lately sounds incredible.
Hmmm. I really loved Geyser but not sure about this one yet. Here's hoping it grows on me. I could see myself enjoying it much more in the context of the record.
Have you listened to the album?
James Blake is on a roll. I need a new album like yesterday
ready for EE••MMOO••TTIIOONN
Honestly these bands sound nothing alike to my ears
Just saw Snail Mail open for Ought the other night and they were fantastic. She mentioned she was sick, but we couldn't tell at all.
This could almost be a Broken Social Scene song. Really digging it.
Came here to say the same thing
I think I like Severed more, but not hating this at all.
The end of the title track is especially devastating
Welp. This has CRUSHED me. I mean, I was expecting it, but still. "This is what my life feels like now."
I am really loving this record. The Most Lamentable Tragedy, while ambitious, was mostly a slog. These songs stick around for the perfect amount of time. As other people have mentioned, the live quality to these songs is a joy to hear.
"Take Everything" is giving me weird Grizzly Bear vibes and I'm loving it.
This album is absolutely stunning from front to back. My (very early) AOTY for sure.
Eucalyptus didn't get enough love. Some of Avey's best songwriting.
This is decidedly not for me... Just gonna leave it at that.
This could be a Strokes song. A good Strokes song! But I definitely enjoyed the weirder direction that the previous Voidz record was heading.
$9 for almost 2 hours of top notch Ty is a steal.
The last 3 tracks are especially great. Really digging this.
Every 1's a Winner is a total jam. Might have to pick this one up on vinyl.
I was lukewarm on An Object. Didn't love it but had some good jams. This is every bit the comeback I was hoping for.
