saw her at Primavera Sound earlier this year in Barcelona and it was phenomenal. her hometown was ready to welcome her back and she left every last thing on that stage. can't wait to follow her career.
yeah so i went to the event and this article is exactly right. i went in with expectations of papi juice in brooklyn, but with more frank ocean energy but i left feeling mostly disappointed. hoping that him & his team are open to the feedback in the future events.
Nah i disagree. Bigger and Otherside are some of her best ballads ever, the chemistry all of these artists (except for Childish) is warm and palpable, and she’s vocally somehow better than before. The interludes are annoying af and one or two skips, but this feels refreshing to me. And, as always, makes me wanna set a new calorie goal.
the same people, who just days before, he was telling to go back to their home country? he's the people's champ for working with one extremely rich black man to "free" another extremely rich black man? chile...
that was my concern too, but per apple dot com "...rest assured; everything you had in your iTunes library is still accessible in each app." we'll see if it holds true...
It totally doesn't, but I'm so happy she's getting the help she needs on her own terms. And hopefully since self-care is *trending* in 2019, publications will handle things a bit more gracefully 10 years later.
I don’t think it’s wise to remove the race of the victims altogether, especailly when you consider that R. Kelly’s money management has been shoddy at best (a random women posted his bail last week when he couldn’t). Money and power are obviously HUGE factors, but race is too. Black women receive disproportionately lower resources for reporting and preventing rape while also having a higher perception of being overly sexual. I don’t think it’s a reach to say that context should be considered too.
