Love her songs album so much. Ingydar stopped me in my tracks.
If they can't make it, what hope do we have?
Thank you for putting in to words how I've felt with these artists' recent output. I think their stuff hits home way harder when they take a "personal is political" approach. Some of this more recent stuff causes me to roll my eyes a bit.
Literally yesterday I was wistfully staring out the window thinking about if these guys were ever going to release a new album.
A couple of bold assumptions in this post here.
I mean having your livelihood destroyed for attending a political rally is pretty brutal. (I'm assuming that's why the label dropped him, as it happened before the allegations surfaced) That being said, whining to the media always makes you look like a wiener.
I was certain she had to be at least 35
Mr. Pink has never indicated he doesn't want people thinking he is a gross creep.
So James Alex is a giant asshole and both of these people are emotional trainwrecks? Got it.
Finally some good news!
I laughed out loud at the update. A tale as old as time.
"I should download Tik Tok" - No, Robin, you really shouldn't. Also, Shore is fantastic!
Fully agree, especially when there were a lot of great artists worth mentioning that weren't. Not to mention the article justifying leaving a few off the list because the weren't purely "country". A few more that immediately come to mind: Colter Wall, H.C. McEntire, Logan Ledger. Lots of great country music this year.
Seems weird to not even mention Chris Stapleton, who I think put out the best country album bar none this year. Also I think the Isbell album is kinda overrated. I love Isbell, but for whatever reason this one didn't do it for me.
Listening to Eno Axis is like lowering yourself into a nice warm bath.
Just in time to catch the hot breakdancing trend that's sweeping the globe.
