I did both! We all passed the laser around so we all got a turn
She's a level above everyone else right now. Can't see this being anything other than AOTY
When have you ever met an English person who pretends to be a sophisticated gentlemen? That image almost exclusively exists in TV shows and films
It's pretty funny that the bad guy on the internet this week is "all English people." On the penalty - It was soft but I don't give a fuck. Should've had one earlier in the game for the tackle on Kane anyway.
I'm glad we got a write up for this, the singles are both excellent! I get some 90s Magnetic Fields vibes from them pushed through a 2000s indie lens. It sounds dope
A very unlikely collab (and I'm slightly disappointed they didn't go for an out-of-place Nottingham punk rap verse) but this absolutely bangs
They were the last show I went to, nearly 2 years ago! They absolutely slayed
This track is brilliant!
I swear we're getting longer album rollouts than usual this year? 3/9 songs already dropped and it's not out for another 3 and half months
She's so fucking good
Just realised that new Drug Church EP is this week as well!
My god there's an overwhelming amount here for me this week! Someone here a few months ago recommended the new Hildegard tracks (I think it was on a Tirzah article) and I just wanna say thanks. That album has been soundtracking my evenings for the last few weeks and it's absolutely fantastic
Double Negative was a top 10 of the decade for me, a singular achievement that takes me to a place completely outside of time like almost no other album can. This track is beautiful and I hope they can come up with another masterpiece
Still 2 months away from the start of the season in the comment section of an American music site. I thought I was safe fam. There's no escape blud.

This is most definitely a Gang of Youths song, and that's a very good thing
She don't miss! I have monumental expectations for this album, can't believe we've still gotta wait 3 months
In a way I'm glad it's not number 1. That's not the legacy I want to leave
It's a lot more stripped back and less adventurous than the first one, but it's really good. Production sounds absolutely fantastic on it
OH MY GOD HOW IS THIS THE FIRST I'VE HEARD OF BLACK METAL 2?! I'M SO EXCITED!!!
For Those I Love is pretty comfortably in my number 1 spot, incredible album
Aww fuck yeah Fiddlehead!
Man your penultimate paragraph here is so perfect, this album really is a part of me
Ffs, awful typo
It can't really be said enough just how spectacular Pyramid Dong is. My love for Radiohead has dwindled over the last decade and I'm rarely in the mood to listen to them any more, but Pyramid Song is eternal
Album is out tomorrow not next week! I like a lot of their tracks but the last 2 albums didn't really have much staying power for me. The singles for this have all been really good though (and I think this is the best of the lot!) so I'm excited to hear the whole thing
Very hyped for that Drug Church EP
Was utterly baffled when I saw this this morning, but I think I'm going to carry my ticket over to weekend 1. Pavement and Dino Jr is too good to miss
His instant dismissal as soon as Jonathan Ross brings up grime is a really good way to sum Noel up now. Just a boring old dinosaur
There's nobody else out there right now making pop music this hypnotic. Everything she does stops me in my tracks and completely captivates me, beautiful stuff
Forgot Fiddlehead was this week, that's gunna rip for sure
These new singles are an enormous leap forward where it didn't seem like one was possible. Grey Area is a great album but if she keeps this energy up over the course of a 20 track album we're in for a masterpiece
We Were Dead absolutely rules
Ah, I really don't like it. It's worse than the singles from Strangers to Ourselves which doesn't bode well at all
