I mean yes it expands into a different sounding song, but the rhythm and picking of the guitar and the drum pattern in the intro are identical. I mean its a vibe, im all for stealing a vibe and doing something new with it.
This is definitely positive, but only affects a very small portion of concerts that can happen. I dont think very drunk people at a packed club is going to happen for 2021 :(
I have a friend who does a lot of these lyric videos for rappers and 9 times out of 10 they contact him like 2 days before the release date and he just has to pull 48 hour runs working on these. Moral of the story I give some leeway for these.
I had the same feeling I had with the Led Zeppelin cover she did for whatever movie it was, Karen O's voice sounds cool and i will never listen to this again.
If Beck + Gorillaz and St Vincent + Gorillaz either happened 10 years ago my brain would have exploded. That aside this is a great record, Aries and Desole are still my favorites on first listen.
The fact that we even have to register to vote (much less a whole slew of other restrictions including the electoral college) is fucking old-timey ass backwards bullshit.
I absolutely love his post VW output and did enjoy FOTB but my brain can't help but think what the imagined follow-up to MVOTC would be and beyond with Rostam still in the lineup.
One of my favorite things about Kid A is that Everything in its Right Place is in 10/4, HTDC is in 6/8, Idioteque is in 6/4, Morning Bell is in 7/8 and you barely even notice this because everything is so fluid.
Actually i dont think i have a favorite song, its a rotating top list of songs that includes Let Down, Nude, Weird Fishes, Pyramid Song, EIIRP, HTDC, Idioteque, Daydreaming, Bloom and then a random B-side that i will become obsessed with lets say Cuttooth for now.
