Seeing Nandi play is refreshing because it's a reminder that some kids out there are actually talented and actually have the desire to learn a new instrument, as opposed to sitting around on the couch snapping selfies, hoping to become the next young hot tiktok influencer.
I don't doubt that Dylan was a creep but I truly hope he wasn't a full blown sex offender. Though he was close with Allen Ginsberg who was notoriously a member of NAMBLA...
I totally get it, but I would prefer they just ask for vax cards before entering. It's going to really suck if the next few years means masks everywhere and no accountability for those who refuse to vaccinate.
You will never be taken seriously by anyone with a functioning brain. It is very telling that the majority of anti-vaxxers think the movie The Matrix is speaking directly to them, sort of like how Charles Manson felt about The White Album. Time to log off the internet and maybe check yourself into a mental institution.
I'm all for a band having fun but I am a little irked by the fact that they got vinyl copies of this rushed out the gate, meanwhile most bands have to wait around 6 months for a vinyl production run.
I feel the same about this as I do with all bougie-clothing indie band collabs: get that money. God knows indie music itself probably isn't paying the bills anymore.
Most disrespectful shit I’ve seen in a long time. First she claims to have discovered it. Then, her relentless talking between parts, “don’t worry, it’s halfway over.” Or when she was like “just when you don’t think it could get any worse, a guitar solo.” Like Jesus Christ… nobody held a gun to your head and made you play this, Miley.
Unrelated, but I just wanted to say I'm surprised Stereogum didn't cover the Supreme / Butthole Surfers collab that went live yesterday. The bright spot of my week was reading comments from very confused hypebeasts who were trying to wrap their heads around the prospect of spending $170 to buy a hoodie with BUTTHOLE written across it. (As a side note, there are plenty of cool t-shirts still for sale and the word Supreme is pretty small on most of them, which is nice.)
