Rand Paul is a total piece of shit, but he doesn't deserve death threats or threats against his family.
That being said, the idea that Richard Marx's tweet is "inciting violence" against Rand Paul is hilariously ridiculous.
Some of those days aren't terrible, Thursday seems like it would be a good time and Anthrax, Masotodon and Metallica all on Sunday sound cool. But good god, look at Saturday. What a fucking awful lineup. Poor GWAR
Because we WANT the Grammys to actually be a relevant thing in the music world. As much as everyone (including myself) shits on them, we all still want people who we think deserve it to be given the "biggest award in music." Also, as much as many artists put down the Grammys, they clearly do give a shit about winning and being nominated, which has an affect on music listeners as well.
Yeah, this seems about right to me. On the whole, easily the best set of Grammy performances I've ever seen, though I don't think they quite hit some of the highs that other ones have hit (though those years were dragged way down with awful, boring, tedious crap)
Nah, I'm with you, it was pretty insufferable. Jack Antonoff looked like a dweeb too. There's nothing quirky about dressing up like you're from 1931 Jack, you just look like a dork.
Someone else mentioned it before but it really only seems to have any actual impact on famous/rich people when corporations or businesses that work with them get involved. Businesses are seemingly terrified of any kind of backlash online and if they catch a whiff of this kind of controversy based on old tweets or whatever, they drop people pretty quickly.
But I can't think of anyone who has had their life "destroyed" like a lot of people will say, it all usually just amounts to temporarily losing business opportunities.
