the album fishmonger by underscores is the best thing i have heard this year other than black country, new road. it is a hyperpop gen z mess and i listened to it about 25 times in 2 days
i think that is what will happen. my understanding is that headliners get a cool million for 'surprise' dropping a record within a few days of performance - if i remember correctly beyonce and kendrick both did that
the idea of weezer and their management discussing “what would get people on the internet talking” while making an album kind of explains the band post 2000 or 2003 in a way i felt but could not quite explain before
Elbow has been a favorite for me since I found a UK import used CD copy of Cast of Thousands - still my favorite of theirs.
And I got to see them play my favorite track off of it in 2009 - Grace Under Pressure
Anyways I love this band and their George Bush record “Leaders of the Free World” is wildly underrated
one of the producers of the black country, new road record said on his website that he had been already working on the new MBV material w kevin - hopefully !
YES ! i was there too and that has been my number one over Bob Dylan with Kings of Leon opening, Beach House Teen Dream Tour, the Strokes on First Impressions Tour, Radiohead at United Center
This is sad. I kept my tickets for this show in mind as a carrot dangling in front of my increasingly isolated life. I wonder what this says about Coachella bc these dates and the rescheduled ones were I think to coincide with his Coachella performances ?
